How BriteSmile® Works
BriteSmile® uses a 15% hydrogen peroxide gel activated by a proprietary blue-spectrum LED light tuned to the gel's specific absorption wavelength. The combination delivers up to 8 shades of whitening in a single 60-minute appointment.
BriteSmile® vs Philips Zoom!®
Both are excellent professional in-clinic systems. Specific differences:
For patients with sensitive teeth, BriteSmile® may be slightly gentler due to the lower peroxide concentration. For heavier staining (heavy coffee/wine drinkers), Philips Zoom!® WhiteSpeed delivers slightly more brightening per session. Both are clinically excellent.
