How long does a typical visit take?

Most veneer and Hollywood smile patients stay 5 days. Implant patients require 4-7 days for the first visit and 2-3 days for the second visit (3 months later, after osseointegration). All-on-4 patients leave with same-day teeth on day 2 of their first visit.

Where will I stay during my visit?

WeCare arranges your stay in a 4-star hotel near the clinic with private room, breakfast, and concierge. The hotel is included in every treatment package. We have partnerships with several properties — you can choose based on personal preference (beach view, city center, family-friendly) at no extra charge.

How do airport transfers work?

A WeCare driver in a Mercedes-Benz V-Class meets you at AYT arrivals with a personalized name placard. The transfer to your hotel takes 12 minutes. You will receive your driver's photo and license plate via WhatsApp 24 hours before your flight. Return airport transfer is also included.

Will my flight time work with treatment?

Yes — we coordinate. Most morning arrivals proceed directly to clinical examination on day 1 (after hotel check-in). Late arrivals start treatment day 2. We schedule complex procedures for early-morning slots so you can rest in the afternoon.

Do I need a visa to enter Turkey?

EU passport holders enter visa-free for 90 days. UK, US, Canadian, Australian travelers need an e-visa (online, $20-30 fee, 5-minute application). The e-visa is valid for 180 days. We send a clinic confirmation letter to support your application.

Will I see the design before any treatment?

Yes. Every cosmetic case at WeCare goes through Digital Smile Design (DSD): photographs, 3D scan, computer-rendered alternatives, and a temporary mock-up placed in your mouth before any tooth preparation. You give written approval before we proceed.

What materials do you use?

Premium European and Korean brands only — Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, Astra Tech for implants. IPS e.max® lithium disilicate from Ivoclar Vivadent (Liechtenstein) for veneers and crowns. 3M and Kuraray bonding cements. Manufacturer batch certificates are provided to you after treatment.

Is the procedure painful?

No. All procedures are performed under modern local anesthesia (the same numbing used for fillings). Most patients report no pain during the procedure and only mild sensitivity afterwards. Sedation (oral or IV) is available on request for anxious patients.

Will I be able to eat normally during my visit?

Veneer and crown patients eat normally throughout the visit (other than during the actual procedure day). Implant patients eat soft foods for the first 2 weeks then progress to firmer foods. All-on-4 patients eat soft foods for 2 weeks, then medium-soft until the final permanent bridge is placed at month 4.

How does the warranty work?

Lifetime warranty on titanium implant fixtures (covered by Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Osstem, Astra Tech). 5-year warranty on crowns and veneers. If anything fails within these periods, WeCare flies you back to Antalya at our expense for repair or replacement. Written guarantee provided after treatment.

Does my health insurance cover treatment in Turkey?

Cosmetic treatments are typically not covered by any insurance worldwide. Restorative treatments (implants, crowns) are sometimes partially covered by private dental insurance — check with your insurer for "out-of-network treatment" reimbursement. We provide an itemized invoice in EUR for submission to your insurer.

Can I claim NHS, GKV, or Sécurité Sociale reimbursement?

Public healthcare systems do not generally reimburse private treatment abroad, with rare exceptions for emergency cases. However, complementary private insurance often does. We provide all documentation needed for reimbursement attempts in any language requested.

What payment methods do you accept?

EUR cash, USD cash, credit card (Visa/Mastercard/Amex), bank transfer (SEPA accepted), and Wise / Revolut transfers. Most patients pay 30% deposit on arrival, 70% balance after the temporary phase. Some opt for split payments across both visits for implant cases.

Do I need to pay anything upfront before traveling?

No deposit required to receive your treatment plan and travel quote — both are 100% free. Some patients pay a small deposit (€100-€300) to secure premium materials in advance, but this is fully refundable up to 7 days before the trip and credited to your final invoice.

How long will I need to recover?

Most patients return to normal life within 2-3 days of veneer or crown work. Implant surgery causes 5-7 days of mild swelling and dietary restriction (soft foods). All-on-4 patients have 2-3 weeks of softer-food adjustment. Most are back at work and fully functional within 1 week of the surgical visit.

What aftercare instructions will I receive?

You leave with a printed and digital aftercare plan in your language, a take-home kit (medicated toothpaste, special floss, night guard for veneer/crown patients), and prescribed medications. Our coordinator follows up via WhatsApp on days 1, 3, 7, 14, and at month 1 to check progress.

What if I have a problem after returning home?

WhatsApp first. Our team responds within hours, often with a video call to assess the issue. If on-site care is needed, we work with our partner dentists in major European cities (London, Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam) for emergency support. Major issues covered by warranty are flown back to Antalya at our expense.

Can I shower / fly / exercise after surgery?

You can shower the same day. Air travel is safe the next day for veneers/crowns and 5-7 days after implant placement (we typically arrange your return flight to align). Light walking is fine immediately; vigorous exercise should wait 2 weeks after implant placement.
