Dental treatments in Antalya
Start from what is actually wrong rather than from a treatment name. The table below maps the problem you would describe to a dentist onto the treatment that usually solves it, and to the page that explains it properly. Nothing here is a diagnosis — the plan only becomes real after a CBCT scan and a written quote.
Start with the problem, not the treatment
Most people arrive knowing the symptom and not the procedure. Find the line that sounds like you.
| What you would say | What is usually involved | Read about it |
|---|---|---|
| One tooth is missing or has to come out | A single implant and crown, or a bridge when the neighbouring teeth already need crowns | Dental Implants in Turkey: Assessment, Treatment and Aftercare |
| Several teeth are missing in different places | Individual implants, or implants carrying a short bridge across a gap | Dental Implants in Turkey: Assessment, Treatment and Aftercare |
| Most or all of my teeth are gone or failing | A full-arch route — four or six implants under a fixed bridge, or an implant-retained overdenture | All-on-4 Implants in Turkey: Full-Arch Assessment and Planning |
| My lower denture will not stay in place | Two or four implants with attachments so the denture clips down instead of floating | All-on-4 Implants in Turkey: Full-Arch Assessment and Planning |
| My front teeth are discoloured and whitening did not fix it | Thin ceramic veneers, or bonding first when the discolouration is shallow | Dental Veneers in Turkey — Materials, Preparation and Aftercare |
| I want my whole smile changed for a specific date | A designed smile plan — usually veneers, sometimes crowns where teeth are already heavily restored | Hollywood Smile in Turkey — Diagnosis, Options and Written Planning |
| My teeth are yellow but otherwise healthy | Professional whitening. The cheapest correct answer, and often enough on its own | Professional Teeth Whitening — Suitability, Limits and Aftercare |
| An old crown or large filling keeps breaking | A zirconia or ceramic crown, after checking whether the tooth still needs root treatment | Zirconia Crowns in Turkey — Suitability, Preparation and Material Checks |
| A tooth aches, throbs or wakes me at night | Root canal treatment to keep the tooth, rather than removing and replacing it | Root Canal Treatment — Diagnosis Before Travel |
| I do not know what I need, I just do not like my smile | A digital smile design and a mock-up you can look at before anything irreversible happens | Digital Smile Design — Plan Before Choosing Treatment |
The conservative ladder most patients are never shown
Cosmetic dentistry has an order, and it runs from the cheapest and least destructive to the most. A good plan starts at the top and stops as soon as the result is good enough. A package sold on a fixed timetable tends to start near the bottom, because crowns are faster and more forgiving to fit.
| Step | What it costs the tooth |
|---|---|
| 1Professional cleaning and whitening | Nothing. No enamel is touched and it is fully reversible. |
| 2Composite bonding | Almost nothing. Minimal or no preparation, and it can be removed or redone later. |
| 3Gum-line correction | Nothing on the tooth. Reshapes soft tissue, not enamel. |
| 4Short-course clear aligners | Nothing. Moves teeth instead of cutting them to fake alignment. |
| 5Minimal-prep ceramic veneers | 0.3–0.7 mm, ideally enamel only. Irreversible, but conservative. |
| 6Full crowns | 1.5–2 mm around the whole tooth, into dentine. Irreversible, and it commits the tooth for life. |
If a sound, lightly filled tooth is being recommended for a crown, ask for the reason in writing. There are good reasons — a heavily filled or root-treated tooth, a fracture, severe discolouration. "It gives a better result in five days" is not one of them.
Every treatment, explained in full
Each page covers the procedure, how long it takes, what recovery is like and where it goes wrong — not a brochure.

The order matters more than the treatment name. Anything that removes tooth structure happens after the plan is agreed, never before.
- 1
Photographs and a panoramic or CBCT scan
Sent from home or taken on arrival. Without a scan nobody can tell you what your case needs, and any fixed price quoted before one is a guess.
- 2
A written, itemised plan
Every unit listed separately with the material named, so you can see what you are paying for and take it to another dentist for a second opinion.
- 3
Design and mock-up before preparation
For anything cosmetic you see the proposed result and approve it first. This is the stage cheap packages skip, and it is the one that protects you.
- 4
Treatment, then a healing gap
Implants need months to integrate. Ceramics need a try-in before the final fit. A case compressed into one short trip has had a stage removed from it.
- 5
Records you take home
Treatment notes, radiographs, the implant passport with batch numbers and the material specification — what any dentist will ask for before touching the work.
