Who Can Get Dental Implants?
You are a candidate if you have one or more missing teeth, healthy gums, and adequate jawbone (or are willing to undergo bone grafting). Smokers should quit at least 2 weeks before surgery. Diabetics with HbA1c below 7.0% are excellent candidates. Patients on bisphosphonates require special evaluation — send us your medications list and we will advise.
