WeCare's 5-day Hollywood smile protocol is one of the most-booked treatment plans by patients with wedding dates in mind. This guide explains how to time it correctly, what the experience is like, and how we ensure photo-ready results.
When to Schedule — Working Backward From the Wedding
We recommend completing your veneer treatment at least 3-4 weeks before the wedding. Here is why:
Days 1-7 after final veneers — Mild gum sensitivity, possible minor edge adjustment if needed.
Days 7-14 — Full settling. Your bite stabilises. Speech feels completely natural.
Days 14-21 — Optimal photography window — your smile looks "in" your face, not new. Mild teeth movement (< 0.1 mm) settles into bite.
Days 21-30 — Continued natural appearance, full confidence in smile dynamics.
For a wedding, the 3-4 week window before the event is ideal. This gives:
- Full healing
- Time for any minor adjustment if needed
- Confidence to smile, laugh, and engage at the events leading up to the wedding (engagement parties, hen nights, family meals)
If your wedding is sooner than 3 weeks: still possible but less ideal. We accelerate the protocol slightly. Pre-wedding photo session can be scheduled for week 2.

The 5-Day Schedule
Day 1 — Arrival + Smile Design
You land at Antalya airport, where our driver meets you with a name sign. Mercedes transfer to your 4-star hotel. After check-in, clinic shuttle picks you up for the consultation. We take photographs, scan your teeth, and run the digital smile design software with 3-5 different smile options. Acrylic mock-up over your teeth. You see the result in your face, in different lights, smiling and talking, before any preparation. Decision made.
Day 2 — Tooth Preparation + Temporaries
Local anaesthesia. The prosthodontist gently reduces 0.3-0.5 mm of enamel from the front of each treatment tooth. Temporary veneers placed (which look beautiful — many patients post photos of just the temporaries). You eat and smile normally during the lab phase.
Days 3-4 — Lab Fabrication + Antalya Time
The master ceramist hand-layers each E.max veneer to your approved design. Multiple firing cycles. Hand-painted internal characterisations. Total fabrication: 8-12 hours per arch. You explore Antalya — old town, beach, marina, cuisine. Wedding planning calls if you need.
Day 5 — Try-In + Final Bonding
Final veneers placed unbonded. You see the result in mirror, in selfies, in different lights. Smile dynamics test (relaxed smile, full smile, laugh). After your written approval, each veneer is acid-etched and bonded with light-cured resin cement. Bite adjustment, polish, photographs.
Day 6 — Departure
Final check, take-home aftercare kit, photographs of your final smile. Mercedes transfer to AYT airport. Flight home.
Photographer-Ready Considerations
For wedding photography:
- Shade selection — We recommend OM2 or OM3 for wedding-photo-optimised brightness without looking unnatural in candid shots. We can go BL2 (celebrity-bright) if your aesthetic preference is bolder.
- Translucency — Master ceramist hand-layering mimics natural enamel translucency at the incisal edge. Avoids the "flat white" denture look that ruins close-up photos.
- Tooth length — Slightly longer central incisors look more youthful and photogenic. We design 1.0-1.5 mm length increase if your starting teeth are short.
- Smile line — The veneer edges follow the curve of your lower lip when you smile. Our DSD preview shows you the smile line before any work.
- Symmetry — Wedding photos often catch you mid-laugh. Symmetric design ensures any angle looks great.
Pre-Wedding Lifestyle Considerations
Coffee, red wine, and tobacco can stain the bonding edges of veneers over time. For the 3-4 weeks before the wedding:
- Use the special toothpaste in your aftercare kit
- Limit coffee/red wine to 1-2 cups per day
- Rinse with water immediately after staining drinks
- Avoid smoking (also helps with general fitness for the event)
- Use the night guard if you are a grinder — protects veneers during stress sleeping
Combined Treatments
Many wedding patients combine Hollywood smile with:
- Teeth whitening for the back teeth (the ones not getting veneers) — In-clinic Zoom! whitening day 1, brings back teeth to match the new veneer shade.
- Gum contouring — If your gum line is uneven or "gummy," 5-minute laser gum lift evens it. No additional recovery time.
- Smile design for the partner — Many wedding couples come together for treatment.
